BEIJING - Denim brand Levi's has been ranked top globally among more than 600 brands in the 2021 Green Supply Chain CITI Evaluation rankings which have been released by the Institute of Public and Environmental Affairs (IPE) in China.

Eight of the top ten brands - Levi's, C&A, Nike, Zara owner Inditex, Primark, Adidas, Target and VF Corp - rated for their supply chain oversight were fashion brands or retailers this year.

However, the industry didn't do quite as well in a new set of rankings - the Climate Action Transparency Index (CATI) - in which none were ranked top three, although six - Target, Levi's, Gap, Adidas, Nike and Walmart - made the top ten.
