NEW YORK – The US Regenerative Cotton Fund (USRCF), which the Soil Health Institute launched with funding from fashion brand Ralph Lauren, has been recognised as an Innovation Sprint Partner by the Agriculture Innovation Mission for Climate (AIM for Climate).

AIM for Climate, which the United States and United Arab Emirates launched at COP26, with the support of 31 countries, sets out to mobilise US$1 billion in investment in climate-smart agriculture and food systems innovation over five years (2021-2025).

The USRCF was launched as a farmer-facing, science-based initiative to support long-term sustainable cotton production in the states, with the goal of eliminating one million metric tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) from the atmosphere by 2026.
