ANTANANARIVO — A new 18-month pilot programme has been launched to transform Madagascar's garment industry by improving working conditions and business productivity.
The Better Work Madagascar programme is a collaboration between the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group.
It is supported by the European Union (EU), and also involves the government, both employers’ and workers’ organisations, as well as global brands which source from Madagascar.
