LONDON – Environmental charity Hubbub has teamed up with the John Lewis Partnership to launch a new £1 million (US$1.3m) fund that will support companies and organisations that can accelerate the transition towards a circular economy.

Targeted at innovators in the textiles, food, household products, technology and services sectors, the initiative will grant promising projects between £150,000 and £300,000 depending on their potential to address waste, instil new business models and shift consumer mindsets.

Interested parties have until the 9th January to apply for funding, at which point an independent panel will assess all candidates and determine where to allocate funding.
