TOKYO - Japanese tech and fibres firm Teijin's greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction targets have been vaildated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) as being in line with the Paris Agreement.

It becomes the first company in the Japanese chemical industry to receive the recognition which means its targets are aligned with limiting global warming to less than 2C above pre-industrial levels.
