ZUG – Switzerland-headquartered philanthropic organisation, the Laudes Foundation, has made a significant contribution to a €2.5 million catalytic funding grant awarded to U.S. not for profit Biomimicry Institute (BI) as it strives to develop new systems that convert textile waste into biocompatible raw materials for the fashion industry.

The long-term aim is to focus on nature-inspired solutions which will help to design an inclusive and circular bioeconomy that uses decomposition technologies to produce a useful feedstock.
