HELSINKI – An EU-wide enforcement project undertaken by the ECHA (European Chemical Agency) last year, found that 78 per cent of nearly 6,000 products for sale online – a large number of which were textiles or leather – were non-compliant with REACH, the Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP), or the Biocidal Products (BPR) regulations.
