SHANGHAI – Viscose producer Sateri reports that its five mills in China have completed the Higg Facility Social and Labour Module (FSLM) audit and achieved scores of more than 80 per cent.
The FSLM promotes safe and fair social and labour standards within textile supply chains by assessing a factory’s health and safety protocol, their wage and compensation schemes and how they treat staff.
Allen Zhang, Sateri’s president, said: “Our high score of over 80 per cent is an affirmation of our ongoing efforts to uphold workers’ welfare and create a conducive work environment, especially during these difficult times brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.”
