LONDON – The University of the Arts London’s (UAL) Fashion, Textiles and Technology Institute (FTTI) has teamed up with the British Council to offer five small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) a financial package that will support the development of their sustainability-focused solutions.
These recipients – which have innovated in the spaces of fibre manufacture, digital design, and circularity – will share £100,000 (US$133k).
“This initiative will support new ideas shaping the future of sustainable fashion globally — in addition to building longer-term initiatives with the FTTI,” noted Sevra Davis, director of architecture, design and fashion at the British Council.
