PRATO – Textile manufacturer Texon has secured Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certification at three sites across Italy, Hong Kong and Taiwan for specific product lines and processing steps used in the manufacture and distribution of ‘sustainable’ material solutions for apparel footwear and accessories.
GRS is an international voluntary standard that confirms that a manufacturer meets the needs of companies looking to verify the recycled content used in their products.
It also offers customers assurances that these sites have adopted responsible social, environmental, and chemical practices.
