KARACHI – Chemicals group ICI Pakistan has partnered with traceability solutions provider FibreTrace to authenticate the sustainability credentials of its 100 per cent recycled polyester staple fibre brand, Terylene Clean.
Manufactured from post-consumer waste, Terylene Clean is to integrate FibreTrace’s patented tracer technology at the raw material stage.
Nauman Shahid Afzal, vice president of ICI’s polyester business, said the collaboration will “bring much needed transparency to the rPET fibre industry”.
