LOS ANGELES – US investment firm Regeneration.VC has launched a US$45 million fund as it looks to support the development of ‘sustainable’ materials and circular business models across industries including fashion.

To date, the company – which counts Oscar winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio amongst its advisors – has invested in materials science business Pangaia and rental and resale service provider Arrive.

DiCaprio commented: “We need forward-thinking approaches that perform measurably better for our planet. It's time for people to feel good about their purchases and for businesses to meet that challenge – every bite of food, every t-shirt, every product counts.”
