LONDON – British retailer Marks & Spencer (M&S) has, for the second time, teamed up with rental fashion platform Hirestreet to launch a new range on its site, which consumers can take home for up to 30 days.
Said to be Hirestreet’s biggest ever retailer collaboration, M&S first joined the marketplace in November of last year when it unveiled its autumn/winter offering.
“Clothing rental is often associated with special occasions, but the popularity of M&S clothes, many of which are versatile for any occasion, demonstrates how the future of fashion rental is changing – today rental fashion is more than just providing temporary access to designer items,” commented Hirestreet’s strategy lead, Rosie Hartman.
