TALLINN – Estonian fashion resale platform Upty has acquired its Finnish peer Rekki in a bid to bolster its own offering and further promote secondhand apparel.

The terms of the deal haven’t been disclosed, but Upty’s CEO, Sergei Brek, says the synergy will help it become a “serious circular economy player”.

Upty is expected to start a fundraising round in the coming months to accelerate its expansion ambitions throughout Europe.
