SAN FRANCISCO / AMSTERDAM - The Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC) has linked up with Fair Wear and the Ethical Trading Initiative to become a lead partner in The Industry We Want (TIWW) initiative.
The SAC's role will be to take the lead on facilitating collective action across the industry towards achieving the 45 per cent greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction needed by 2030 to meet Paris Agreement targets.
TIWW has developed a dashboard of data through which it intends to update annually to function as a “temperature check” on social, commercial and environmental progress in supply chain countries.
