MIAMI – Leather restoration platform The Cobblers, which services both consumers and leading fashion brands and retailers, has secured US$8 million in funding which it’ll use to optimise its marketplace, expand its number of artisans and move into new territories.
The Cobblers’ network of artisans assess customer queries on a case-by-case basis and have unique specialisms to help repair shoes, bags and other leather-based items.
“The funding validates our strategy and will allow us to continue growing our offering and commitment to our customers and the artisan community,” commented founder Warren Barthes.
