VICTORIA – Authorities in the Australian state of Victoria have announced the latest batch of projects to receive funding under the AU$2.9 million (US$2m) Recycling Victoria Innovation Fund.
The recipients – which boast circular fashion solutions amongst other things – will share AU$630,000 to scale their products and services within the state and beyond.
Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change, Lily D’Ambrosio, said: “By accelerating businesses take-up of circular economy opportunities, we’re creating jobs and cutting costs to Victorians – and keeping our communities and the environment flourishing by reducing waste.”
