MANCHESTER - Failed fast fashion brand Missguided is to be suspended by the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) which works with its member companies, trade unions and NGOs to make a positive difference to supply chain workers' lives.
The initiative said it had taken the step because the company had been put into administration as a result of "considerable debts to suppliers" threatening the livelihoods of garment workers.
In a statement, the ETI said: "Missguided has been an ETI member since 2017 and we have worked with them to develop standards in their supply chain to improve respect for human rights at work. In the past we have dealt with unsatisfactory performance.
