NEW YORK – A collection for newborn babies from Swedish fashion retailer H&M has achieved Cradle to Cradle certification at the gold level.
It means the 12-piece collection surpassed the Cradle to Cradle (C2C) Products Innovation Institute’s criteria covering material health, product circularity, carbon management, water and soil stewardship, and social fairness.
Sofia Löfstedt, head of kidswear design at H&M, commented: “We are proud to have achieved one of the highest levels of certification, and to share our sustainability progress with our customers.”
