IBERIA – Spanish airline Iberia has launched a new uniform recycling scheme and donations drive in a bid to improve the environmental and social impacts of its operations.
Around 80 per cent of previous Iberia uniforms will be afforded a second life as donations to charitable organisations, facilitated by Envera.
Meanwhile, cotton-based polo shirts will be recycled for future uniforms, whilst others will either be downcycled or used for energy recovery as fuel.
