LONDON – Luxury fashion platform Farfetch has reported a 94 per cent increase in the number of ‘conscious’ clothing sales, items that are either secondhand or made from ‘sustainable’ materials, in the past year.

That’s according to the firm’s latest ESG (environmental, social and governance) report, which says ‘conscious’ products now make up 14 per cent of its overall offering.

Farfetch has previously outlined ambitions of hosting only ‘conscious’ labelled items on its marketplace by the end of the decade.
