ARLINGTON – The Better Buying Institute (BBI) has published its industry scorecard in which garment manufacturers judge brands and retailers on their purchasing practices.
The 2022 Better Buying Purchasing Practices Index (BBPPI) garment industry scorecard is based on a record number of ratings - 1,257 compared to 918 last year, from 54 different countries, up from 52 in 2021.
The BBI says the results - released ahead of the full Better Buying Purchasing Practices Index which will be published later in the year - suggest that progress has stalled in a number of key areas.
