CHARLOTTE – Elevate Textiles, which owns manufacturers including American & Efird (A&E), Burlington and Cone Denim, has joined the Textile Exchange global non-profit initiative.
The company says that it aims to accelerate and further expand upon its adoption of 'preferred' fibers through its membership of the organisation.
Textile Exchange is aiming to reduce by 45 per cent greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from the production of raw materials in the textile industry by the end of the decade.
