LENZING – Austrian fibre producer Lenzing has announced a partnership with counterfeit detection experts Red Points in a bid to ensure consumers who buy clothes containing their more sustainable fibres get what they are paying for.

Red Points, a global leader in online IP infringement detection and removal, will help Lenzing strengthen its brand protection efforts globally and enable round-the-clock brand monitoring services.

Lenzing says the partnership will address consumers’ increasing expectations on transparency by verifying the authenticity of its Tencel, Ecovera and Veocel branded fibres right through the value chain to the end products.
