LONDON - Fashion designer Stella McCartney has joined forces with venture capital firm Collaborative Fund to launch a US$200 million fund to invest in sustainable business solutions.

The Collab SOS fund will focus on areas including new materials, decarbonisation and agriculture at Series A and B funding level to help sustainable startups get off the ground.

It has already invested in US biotechnology company Bolt Threads, manufacturer of mushroom leather alternative Mylo, which has long partnered with McCartney on new products.
