PARIS – LePrix, said to be the largest wholesale marketplace for retailers to source luxury pre-owned apparel, has expanded to Europe in a bid to accelerate circularity on the continent.

The company, situated in Maryland, USA, enables secondhand clothing retailers to purchase items from the likes of Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Chanel at a discounted price, helping stock their shelves and continue to promote pre-owned garments.

“There’s unlimited opportunity in the $36 billion resale ecosystem. The business challenge has been getting access to amazing supply at volume and online. That’s the problem that LePrix is solving,” said Elise Whang, CEO and co-founder.
