SAN FRANCISCO - Fashion brand Gap Inc says it has helped improve access to water and sanitation for two million people linked to the garment industry in the Indian states of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.
Gap worked with the US Agency for International Development (USAID) on the Women + Water Alliance initiative which also aims to advance water stewardship best practices for cotton farming.
