BUCHAREST – Romanian fashion brand No44 has launched a new takeback and recycling initiative in collaboration with Turkish manufacturer ISKO, as it looks to support its claim of being one of few ‘sustainable’ clothing companies in the country.
No44, based out of Bucharest, is first focusing on denim and hopes to incentivise customers to donate unwanted jeans, for recycling, with the promise of discounts on future purchases.
“When we started No44, prolonging the life of a garment was the first step we took towards sustainability. Sustainability is the future, and we are ready to take the lead and commit to a meaningful change,” said Claudiu Ciubotaru, No44’s marketing manager.
