LONDON - Fashion shoppers are putting price above sustainability amidst the cost of living crisis, according to a new consumer survey by e-commerce platform Nosto.

The poll of more than 2,000 US and UK shoppers found that 57 per cent wanted fashion to be more sustainable but that 61 per cent would prioritise price over environmental impact.

However, despite the current pressures on their budgets, a sizeable minority (39 per cent) said they would still consider paying more for sustainably-made versions of the same clothes.
