SAN FRANCISCO - Higg, the technology partner of the Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC), has announced new partnerships with chemical management specialists Bluesign and ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals).
The company says the collaboration brings two of the world's leading voices in sustainable chemical management to its data and analytics platform.
All three organisations already work separately to help fashion and textiles businesses reduce the use of hazardous chemicals which are regarded as a significant contributor to climate change and a potential threat to the health of both garment workers and consumers.
