STOCKHOLM – Members of the Swedish Textile Machinery Association (TMAS) have committed to a corporate carbon footprint mapping project in a bid to boost transparency and establish a benchmark from which to drive sustainability improvements.

Developed in partnership with sustainability consultancy ClimatePartner, the initiative will see all participants map their scope 1-3 carbon emissions in line with the principles of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard (GHG Protocol).

“Integrating climate action into strategies is becoming increasingly important in Europe and we have decided to take a pro-active role,” said TMAS secretary general Therese Premler-Andersson.
