LOS ANGELES - US fashion company Torrid has become the first plus size brand to launch a resale platform in partnership with secondhand specialists ThredUp.

Torrid is leveraging ThredUp’s resale-as-a-service (RaaS) proprietary platform for its Clean Out programme to enable its customers to buy and sell secondhand products of any label.

“We’re pleased to offer our customers an exciting and convenient opportunity to earn value by extending the lifetime of their clothes,” said Torrid CEO Lisa Harper.
