NEW YORK - Amer Sports, which owns brands including Arc’teryx, Salomon and Wilson, has linked up with traceability solutions provider Sourcemap to verify the company's entire chain of custody from raw material to finished product.
Amer Sports will leverage Sourcemap’s full-suite supply chain transparency solution to collect transaction certificates for certified materials, such as cotton and viscose, across its supply chain spanning five continents.
It says the platform will enable it to keep on top of complex supply chains so that it can ensure compliance with legislation such as the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) in the USA.
