ARLINGTON – The Better Buying Institute (BBI) has published its annual Better Buying Partnership Index (BBPI) in which it assessed the purchasing practices of 160 brands and retailers.

The Better Buying Partnership Index 2023 Report, the largest so far - up from 100 last year, found that participating companies had improved their overall score by an average of three points - and one company was up 10 points.

Based on a survey which invites apparel manufacturers to rate the purchasing practices of their brand partners, the BBPI aims to provide a consistent way to measure the impact of brands’ purchasing practices.
