LENZING/VAXJO – Austrian cellulosic fibre specialist Lenzing and Swedish wood pulp supplier Södra have announced a milestone in their partnership to scale-up the recycling of post-consumer textile waste.

The two companies are working with Portuguese fabric manufacturer Riopele to create recycled material for the spring summer 2024 collection of Swedish fashion brand Filippa K which will be unveiled later this year.

The Filippa K collection will be the first to feature Tencel Refibra made with 50 per cent Sodra's Once More pulp recycled from post-consumer blended fabrics which Lenzing combines with wood in a closed-loop manufacturing process.
