STATESBORO - Chemical PET recycling company Revalyu is to invest US$50 million in building a new plant in Statesboro, Georgia, in the first phase of a strategic expansion into the US.

Revalyu, formerly known as Perpetual Technologies, says the new plant will be able to recycle more than 100 tonnes of used PET waste per day when it is commissioned in 2024.

The company, which depolymerises PET waste into its chemical building blocks, previously built and commercialised the world’s first glycolysis recycling plant in Nashik, India.
