BANGKOK – A recycled acrylic fibre made by Thai Acrylic Fibre Co. Ltd that contains 75% recycled content has been certified to the Global Recycled Standard and is said to meet Bluesign Approved criteria.
Previously, the company’s ‘Regel’ acrylic fibre – launched last year – was made with 50% recycled content and the new fibre marks a significant technical step in producing recycled acrylics.
The new fibre is available in staple fibre type, with other types like tow and tops scheduled to be launched in ‘due course’.
