SAN FRANCISCO – Higg, the technology partner of the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, is rebranding under a new name - Worldly - under which it will release new products which are not part of the Higg Index suite of tools.
CEO Jason Kibbey said part of the reason for the rebrand was to make it clear that although Higg was spun out from the SAC, which owns the Higg Index, they were completely separate companies.
"I think there's been a lot of confusion over the last few years about who does what. And so for a while we're really been wanting to clarify that this is a different company and that we also have really a different focus," he told Ecotextile News.
