SINGAPORE – The Sustainable Chemistry for the Textile Industry (SCTI) has teamed up with Together for Sustainability (TfS) a member-driven initiative that aims to raise CSR standards throughout the chemical industry.
The two organisations will now work to drive convergence in standards and methodologies on chemical use in the textile and leather industries, by using existing TfS Scope 3 data to calculate the product carbon footprints (PFC) of chemicals and formulations to improve transparency.
