SINGAPORE - Traceability solutions provider FibreTrace has partnered with apparel manufacturer Alpine Group on a programme designed to accelerate transparency in the fashion supply chain.
The FibreTrace system is designed to provide visibility into the journey of textile fibres through a combination of digital and physical technology. It uses a patented luminescent pigment that is embedded within the raw fibre, tracked and verified with scanning devices then implemented across the global supply chain, all captured within a digital blockchain solution effectively providing a digital passport for each product.
