HONG KONG / SINGAPORE – Environmental consultancy Reset Carbon has announced a partnership with the DBS Bank in Singapore to scale decarbonisation efforts in Asia’s apparel manufacturing supply chain.
They signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at the ReThink HK Sustainable Business Conference & Expo in Hong Kong to work with both buyers and suppliers in a bid to reduce emissions in Scope 3 where the bulk of the industry’s carbon footprint lies.
Under the deal, companies will be able access Reset’s advisory services and technical support to drive carbon reductions, as well as finance from DBS to invest in technologies that enable reductions in factory emissions, water use and waste.
