LONDON – UK waste recycling charity WRAP has published a two year update on the progress of its Textiles 2030 project, which is described as the world’s most ambitious ten-year environmental programme for clothing and textiles.
Two years into the programme, WRAP says that 130 businesses, representing over 62% of all clothing products placed on the UK market, have now committed to its ambitious science-based targets and are working together to transition to a circular textiles economy.
