GEELONG - A research team from Australia’s Deakin University is collaborating with Simba Global, one of the country's largest home textiles manufacturers, in a bid to help reduce the spread of harmful microplastics through laundry processes.

Researchers at the ARC Research Hub for Future Fibres in Deakin’s Institute for Frontier Materials (IFM) are working with Simba Global to better understand the extent and type of microplastics shed when their products are laundered.
