LONDON – British footwear brand Vivobarefoot has teamed up with Tel Aviv-based materials science company Balena in a bid to produce the world's first fully compostable, 3D printed shoe.

Vivobarefoot, a certified B Corp, is making use of Balena's proprietary 'BioCirflex' material in a bid to make 3D printed, made-to-measure shoes which are compostable, biobased and recyclable.
