HONG KONG – The Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel (HKRITA) has signed a joint development agreement with Seiko Epson to work on a cross-industry recycling programme.
The collaboration, which will see Seiko Epson apply HKRITA’s experience in developing textile-recycling systems to its proprietary dry fibre technology, follows the 2023 signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the two organisations.
