ITHACA – Four key fashion supply countries risk losing $65 billion in export earnings and one million jobs by the end of the decade because of the impacts of climate change, according to a new report.
The study, conducted by Cornell University and Schroders, highlights the threat posed by extreme heat and flooding to the global apparel industry and suggests potential steps to address these challenges.
