STUTTGART – The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certification organisation enhanced its reach in 2023 with an 8% increase in certified facilities to 14,676 across 89 countries.
The upsurge reported by the non-profit, which aims to offer a voluntary global standard for the production of organic textiles, was also complemented by the launch of its new standard version – version 7.0.
