COPENHAGEN - Denmark has announced plans to ban the sale of clothes, shoes, and waterproofing products that contain PFAS (Per and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances).

The country’s Ministry of the Environment said the proposed ban would take effect from 1st July 2026 to give businesses a a “transition period” before having to comply.
