REMSCHEID – Recycled polyester yarn manufacturer FixDye is looking to increase the capacity and quality of its dope-dyed filament yarn with the installation of a polycondensation system from Oerlikon Barmag Huitong Engineering (OBHE), a subsidiary of Swiss textile machinery specialist, Oerlikon.
The new system will give FixDye the opportunity to improve the upstream, melt preparation stage of the yarn spinning process, which the Huai’an, China-based firm says will enable it to ensure the high standards of its raw materials whilst also improving the quality control of its final product.
