COPENHAGEN – US-based non-profit Conservation International has released a “first-of-its-kind” set of principles to help guide fashion and textile companies in their work with indigenous peoples and local communities (IP&LCs).

Unveiled at this week’s 2024 Global Fashion Summit in Copenhagen, the ‘Indigenous Partnership Principles’ were developed in partnership with Textile Exchange with direct input and leadership from indigenous peoples groups.
